Cookie Policy

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They're used for things like remembering your preferences, understanding how visitors use a site, and — where you've agreed to it — showing relevant advertising.

This policy explains what cookies Blue Sky Sports Physiotherapy uses, why, and how you can manage or withdraw your consent at any time.

How we use cookies

We only set cookies beyond the strictly necessary ones with your consent. When you first visit our site, you'll see a banner allowing you to accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or choose your preferences by category. You can change your mind at any time — see "Managing your preferences" below.

Cookie categories we use

Strictly necessary

These cookies are required for the website to function properly — for example, remembering your cookie consent choice itself, or supporting security and core site functionality. They don't require consent and can't be switched off, because the site wouldn't work properly without them.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our site — which pages are popular, how people navigate between them, and where we can improve. This data is aggregated and doesn't identify you personally. These cookies are only set if you consent to the "Analytics" category.

_ga Distinguishes unique visitors Up to 2 years
_ga_* Persists session state for Google Analytics 4 Up to 2 years
_gid Distinguishes unique visitors 24 hours

Marketing

We use Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Google Ads to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and, where relevant, to show you more relevant ads on other sites. These cookies are only set if you consent to the "Marketing" category.

_fbp Used by Meta Pixel to track visits and ad performance 90 days
_gcl_au Used by Google Ads to measure conversions 90 days

(Note for Sam/Oncord: exact cookie names and durations can shift slightly depending on Meta/Google's current implementation — worth spot-checking these against what actually appears in DevTools once the banner is live, and updating this table if anything differs.)

Managing your preferences

You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking [Cookie Settings] in the footer of any page. This reopens the preferences panel, where you can turn Analytics or Marketing cookies on or off. Your choice is remembered for approximately 6 months, after which you'll be asked again.

You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Every browser is different, but you'll usually find these options under Settings → Privacy. Note that blocking all cookies (including strictly necessary ones) may affect how parts of the site work.

Third parties

Some cookies are set by third-party services we use, including Google (Analytics and Ads) and Meta (Pixel). These providers may use the information collected for their own purposes as described in their own privacy policies:

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time — for example, if we start using a new cookie or service. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
