Chris started his career in elite sport as a Lead Strength & Conditioning Coach in First Class Cricket. During this time, Chris completed a degree in Psychology and a masters in Sport Psychology. He has also achieved Chartered status with the British Psychological Society and is a registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
As a performance psychologist working in a variety of professional sporting organisations, Chris is extremely conscious of the psychological factors, both dispositional and situational, that affect athletes/players at different times. The ability to collaborate with all relevant stakeholders has been critical to his success in exploring ideal ways to make individuals better prepared to perform at an optimum level and help promote and enhance functioning and performance on the short and longer term. In addition to preparing individuals, he has also worked closely with a number of coaches and support staff to help them develop the attributes required to function as a high performing team, whilst aiming to create the best possible personal and professional relationships.
Alongside his work with LMNTARY Performance, Chris provides support across a range of sporting environments including the Rugby Football Union, the England and Wales Cricket Board and the English Institute of Sport.
